Howard Langemo

I enjoy supporting VCSU for the following reasons:

• I am a former VCSU student (although I earned my degree in agriculture from NDSU). My late wife, Marlys, graduated from VCSU, and one of our sons attended the university as well.
• During my wife?s tenure as a teacher in the Valley City public school system, she supervised a number of VCSU student teachers. At the time of her death, we established a VCSU scholarship in her name, and now a number of students have received the scholarship memorializing Marlys.
• Family members Bill Osmon, Lillian Jacobson and Dorothy Langemo worked at VCSU and served the university well. When I give to VCSU, I recognize and contribute to the furtherance of their good work.
• I was in business in Valley City for 35 years. VCSU faculty, students and staff were loyal customers of mine, and I want to give back.
• I enjoy attending cultural and athletic events at VCSU. That?s a big part of life in Valley City.
• I treasure my friendship with President Tisa Mason and her husband, Bill. I want to support her and her efforts on behalf of the university.

These connections to Valley City State University are important to me; that's why I'm happy and honored to support VCSU through the fundraising efforts of the VCSU Foundation.
