Valley City State University has been an ongoing part of our family's life, as a place where both of us and Margaret's parents worked, and a campus that all three of our sons attended. Since Margaret teaches mostly online courses, we were pleased to endow a scholarship to support some of these amazing, placebound students who are working, raising families, and striving to complete degrees and reach their dreams as future teachers. The North Dakota Challenge Grant Program helped increase the scope of this support, and we appreciate the opportunity to be a small part in these students' success.
